This requires a special disk as well as litescribe DVD drive. Some software copying programs have a litescribe program. I am very disappointed in the color and print of it.

I have a custom built notebook from hp and was wondering if there any way possible for me to determine if my hp pavilion 6700 notebook dvd burner has light scribe technology? I cannot remember if I chose that option when choosing the specs for notebook. Thank you in advance for the feedback.

(P.S. Does the fact that my laptop came with Cyber-link Label-print program already installed gave any indication of the capability of the dvd burner?)

Will say Lightscribe on CD/DVD player and also right below keyboard. Lightscribe laser etches designs into the cd. Has nothing to do with Cyber-link.

I have looked and downloaded a couple of things….but am wondering if anyone has any experience with a cd/dvd label printing software and can make a suggestion. Free is good but not required…thanks….

I need to know what the best file format is to save something in if I want to print it later. It’s a high detail picture, with small text. I won’t be using the web with this, just straight printing. Any suggestions?

For most work, JPG is just fine.

Very fine text can get blurred that way, so TIFF is the better option in this case.

I want to make labels for key chains, mugs, business cards, all kinds of stuff but i dont know how to start learning how to do those things… can anyone help?!?

I want to print a custom message on a lot of 50 pens. Screen printing (at present) is out of my price range and a min order is more than 50. There is some kind of label which you can stick on something and then rip it off and it leaves a print. I know these exist because there is one on the back of my computer and when i ripped it off it left white writing which said ‘warranty void’. Where can i buy these labels or how can i make them? I’m in South Australia btw, but im willing to order from overseas. Any other ideas on how to print on the pens are welcome.

I’m pretty sure that having a print shop or business supplier do it is the only way. However, I do know of these things, they’re like plastic sheets, and they have black letters with different fonts and such printed on them. You press a wooden stylus against the sheet and the surface you want, and the letters sticks on. They work on paper, I have no idea whether or not they will work on plastic pens. Bah, I forget what they’re called, not much help I know.

I have Burn and Go X, and this comes with a free CD Label Creator. My Label is created, but i don’t know how to get it printed on the label correctly. Its a small sheet with the cd sticker, and I don’t know how to get the label printed on. Do you know what i mean? How do I put the Label in my printer and then have the label i created on my printer correctly printed onto the stickie label?

If your printer is compatible, your best option would be to mark an x on the top piece of paper in your paper tray. Then send the label to the printer.

This will tell you the direction your printer prints (and if it flips the page when printing–if so the x will be on the opposite face of the paper than the image).
