Sure and by the way …
Sure and by the way thanks for the props.
To answer your question: During scratching you will use a tone sound or voice (this will be used to scratch (this can be an accapella or spoken word even such as the “Big Poppa” segment) you will manipulate this using the up fader instead of the cross fader while playing on the other record or track the instrumental track or beat loop or track you want to add scratching to. Hope this answers your question.
I love your videos, …
I love your videos, but I have a question about scratching/dj’ing. In your videos and other peoples’ videos when you guys scratch, it seems like the beat is still going but only the words are being scratched. For example, the song Big Poppa. i heard the beat going regularly but the word “big” was being scratched and when he was done the song continued. When I scratch, it seems like the entire song stops and you can just hear scratching. Can you explain what’s going on please????

That crome looking silver vinyl was hard to find. I may start making some things though.. If I do I will promise that it will be only to invest in gear to make better stuff for the NS7 and other DJ Gear.
Currently I am looking at making and replacing the left and right plates that go around the buttons and platters with carbonfiber. Its the lettering I am concerned with, and shrinking of material during the cure process. that I am not comfortable with yet.
