I need custom clothing labels for handmade items!?
I am getting ready to send away all the holiday gift that I made and I just thought of the idea of sewing a clothing label on each of the items. I looked throughout the interenet but all the labels are going to take a few weeks just to make, much less get. So I resorted to believing that I may have to make my own. Does anyone know of a good, cheap (not too expensive please!) easy Custom Clothing Label maker? If there is any advice or links that you can share, that would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Some people turn their noses up at Martha, but she does know quality.
I have seen such labels at both craft supply and sewing notions and repair shops and they usually have quite a few different designs. You might be able to find some on ebay even but I don’t see why you can’t google and search dressmaker supply catalogs online.

You could try tracey@identitydirect.com.au I know they do labels if you need lots of them, if not, try your local Big W or K-Mart in the hobbies isle, I do it sometimes for my nieces etc., saying knitted with love from etc., but they only have a few in the packet, the only other thing I can suggest is buying those blank iron on labels and writing on them, its getting a little close to christmas know for personalisation but you can try, I wish you luck and good on you for making things instead of being sucked into the shopping nightmare that christmas has become, I do it also, I feel its more personalised that way, goodluck!

You can buy sheets of printer-ready fabric at JoAnns and Hobby Lobby. Design your labels on your computer and then just print them out.

yup i’ll recommend namemaker website as well. http://www.namemaker.com is a great website for labels. they have iron ons, woven, they have their own designs and you can customize too, if you have you’re own logo or something
