Receipt Printing / Label Printing?
Hi, i was just wondering does anyone know about the "Brother QL500W PC Label Printer" Can you use it as a receipt printer instead of a label maker, like just put a roll of paper in it and print as a receipt printer?
Also if you can would this roll of paper be appropriate: "Thermal Paper Roll, Width 58mm ± 0.5mm".
Thanks in advance ![]()
From what I can see offhand about the basic capabilities of the the printer, it would appear that it would be able to do what you want, and most possibly on that paper. The paper roll you listed may be compatible, but since I don’t know the exact paper or printer specifications it would be impossible to say for sure if they are compatible with each other. I’m sure that a Brother sales rep would be glad to assist you if you call them up and ask your questions directly to them since the printer is still a current selling model.
Best of luck.
