Make Them Pick Up Your Brochure – Start By Making An Effective One

Printing brochure is a little trying because it’s not just like printing a company manual for your clients’ use. Anybody outside your organization wouldn’t want to be troubled with what you try to sell if you are going to hand them out an uninteresting brochure. If you can’t give people something to look at, you can’t make them to read what you have. With that said, always bear in mind some fundamental rules in brochure printing.

Brochure Printing – Size and Shape:

Your brochures does not need to be the standard 8.5″x11″ size or the larger 11″x17″ if you don’t feel like it. Your brochure needs to be noticed. If all brochures have the same size and shape, then how can yours stick out? What makes yours different from the rest? If you think your brochure needs to be cut in a form of a baby bottle to get your message across, then why not? It has a much better chance at being given a second glance than an average rectangular brochure that you frequently see in banks.

Brochure Printing – Motif and Layout:

Brochure printing need not be covered in all the outrageous colors you can think of from its first to last page. Your aim is to capture the interest of your intended customers, not confuse and disgust them. Stick to one theme. If you want to create a green planet-inspired subject, apply that to every page. Don’t include a gothic-colored page and a fairy-tale-inspired sheet. It just just doesn’t make sense.

Although it is understandable that you wish to inform your readers of every detail available, you don’t have to deluge them with information. You would surely lose whatsoever attention you successfully captured at the start if you insist on inundating them with words. Always remember to keep it to the point and brief. You don’t want to miss out important facts, you also don’t wish your brochures to look busy. Avoid long paragraphs. Use bullets instead to reiterate your facts. It’s easier to read, too. Also, use wide spaces and adequate images so the clients won’t have to stress their eyes in looking at your print.

Make Your Target Readers Read Your Brochure:

This must be the first guideline to remember in brochure printing. You may think that a pineapple-cut brochure is a stand out in a sea of rectangular ones, and an eye-friendly color of blue will make sure that people will read every page. But are you captivating the interest of your target readers? Brochure printing must be based on your intended clients. Before you can convey your language, you need to speak theirs first. Hence if you want middle-aged professionals to know about your products and services, then avoid using words that only teens use.

Brochure printing shouldn’t be difficult. You just need to know your intended readers and your product very well in order to convey them your message. Following these rules is just to first step to assuring your readers truly read what you have. The rest, as they say, is up to you.
