So you’re looking for a printer that wouldnt let you down. Well I wish it was that easy but if you’re like me you know this doesn’t always go as planned, in fact there are times where a print job can go the opposite direction of what you planned and hoped for.

I dont know about you are area but im from Sydney and I have had many issues while trying to find a Sydney print business that works for me. That is not over priced and has great quality.

So after a lot of trial and error sifting through my nearby Sydney print business’s I have found there are a few systems that can be applied to keep you out of harms way when selecting a printer.

Here are a few things that work for me when choosing a business out of my handy Sydney print companies.

1. Ok I do not know how long I ignored this obvious rule but I tell you it is not one to be ignored. So simple but we dont always use it and that is word of mouth. With Sydney Printing once I asked somebody I thought could know about print media I was half way there.

2. Use online resources to check up on the print firm you probably use. There are so many web 2.0 and forums out there these days that you can usually find out a lot with a quick scan of the internet. This worked for me with Sydney print.

3. There are a couple of types of printing out there and alot establishments, well alot sydney printfirms only print either digital printing or for the larger runs offset printing. If your run is small choose digital otherwise choose offset printing. Knowing which one you need can cut your list of printers down a little or a lot.

4. Does the company you are selecting to print with have a site and if so go to their site and check out who they have done work for previously. This will help a lot. If you see a clients page that says coming soon then stay clear.

Now these things could seem obvious to some and they’re to me but it took me a while to actually use them instead of just knowing I should. alot of the time with sydney prints I can get by with just these two rules and not end up with a flyer that looks faded or posters that are the wrong size.

But there are times when none of these rules can be applied. Say for example I have to use a Sydney print buiness for an item that no one else prints and therefore I’m forced to use one I haven’t used before. What would you do in this situation?

Well here are some rules that have saved me in the past with Sydney print and I’m positive will work for you as well:

How is the customer service? This may have nothing to do with the printing however if something goes wrong you want a print establishment that’s there to help not just rob you.

Find out if they can print one of you’re items to show you before you go ahead with the whole run. In Sydney Printing establishments this is quite standard and a safe bet.

Sometimes they wouldnt print off an example of your job so in this case ask to see another example of something printed similar, e.g printed flyers

Don’t yourself by going for just the cheapest printer on the block. With Sydney print this has been disastrous for me and probably will be for you aswell.

After saying all that I hope you have luck in your printing ventures, these rules have helped me with Sydney Printing I hope they help you with you are print media too. And oh remember just to double you’re choosing process there are a lot of internet printers these days, I have dabbled with these as well with mixed results. Good luck.
